About the Information Technology Resources Board (ITRB)The ITRB was established in July 1996 by Executive Order 13011 to provide a peer assessment of mission critical information system projects by identifying critical issues and findings; to frame these in management and technical perspectives; and to recommend actions to mitigate risks or resolve issues. The ITRB’s activities promote measurable improvements in mission performance and service delivery through the strategic application of information technology.
